About Us

The Yang Family

Matthew and Sarah have been blessed with five children. Their family life is centered on

living out the gospel, not only within their home but in the broader community. They believe

that their family unit is a reflection of God’s grace and a vital part of their ministry work.

Our Story

Matthew was born in Richmond, Virginia, but spent 9 formative years of his childhood in

Taiwan. This experience gave him a deep connection to the culture and people of Taiwan.

Sarah moved to Taiwan at the age of 13 from Americus, Georgia, and it became her home.

Together, they have embraced the call to serve in this land that has played such an import

ant role in both their lives for the past 7 years.

Though their journey has not been without brokenness and hardship, they have experienced

the transforming power of God’s grace, which has restored them and guided them into

ministry. It is through this grace that they now serve the people of Taiwan with humility and

passion.

Through the power of the gospel, we seek to equip them to live in freedom, shape culture with kingdom values, and bring hope to dark places. Our vision is to raise up kingdom-minded leaders, Godly fathers, and mothers, so that every village in Northeast Taiwan might one day be home to a church instead of a temple."
